Privacy Policy
This policy describes how 60 Minutes Wellness handles personal information when you visit our website, start a membership checkout, or manage an account. It is written for adults in the United States.
Effective August 29, 2026. Last updated August 29, 2026.
1. Who we are
60 Minutes Wellness (“60 Minutes Wellness,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes weekly educational health content and offers a paid monthly membership called 60 Minutes Wellness Weekly Briefing at $9.99/month. We are an online publication, not a clinic, pharmacy, laboratory, or HIPAA covered entity. Contact: hello@60minuteswellness.com.
This policy applies to https://60minuteswellness.example and pages we operate on this domain, including checkout and account screens. It does not control third-party sites we link to (for example MedlinePlus, NIH, CDC, YouTube, or Unsplash).
2. Notice at collection (California)
If you are a California resident, this section is our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (together, “CCPA”). We collect the categories below only as needed to run the site and a membership. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
| Category | Examples | Business purpose | Sold or shared? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Email address you type at checkout or in Account | Send the Sunday briefing and membership notices; show your account | No |
| Commercial information | Plan name, payment method type (PayPal or card) | Complete checkout and display account status | No |
| Internet or device activity | Necessary local storage that remembers membership on this browser | Keep you signed in on this device; remember the cookie notice | No |
| Approximate location | U.S. ZIP code on the card form | Billing address format for a U.S. card payment | No |
| Payment details (limited) | Payment method type only (PayPal or card). Card numbers and CVC are not stored | Attempt checkout in the browser. We do not keep the full card number, CVC, or PayPal password | No |
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or medical records. Browsing a topic such as Blood Sugar or Memory Loss is not stored as a health profile and is not “sensitive personal information” we use to infer characteristics about you.
3. What we collect
You provide: an email address; optionally a cardholder name, card number, expiration, CVC, and ZIP when you choose card checkout; or an email when you choose PayPal. We use card fields only to attempt payment in the browser. Full card numbers and CVC are not written to 60 Minutes Wellness servers and are cleared from the form before the attempt finishes.
This device stores: a membership flag and a one-time acknowledgment of our storage notice, in local storage. Newsletter email, if you enter one, is also stored only on this browser.
We do not collect: diagnoses, lab results, prescriptions, insurance IDs, genetic data, or a health questionnaire. We do not require a medical history to subscribe.
4. How we use information
- Provide the website, checkout, account, and member video access on this device.
- Send the weekly Sunday briefing and billing or membership notices to the email you give us.
- Prevent fraud and abuse of checkout (for example, validating that a card number is well-formed).
- Comply with law and respond to a valid legal request.
- Improve the service in aggregate, without selling topic-level profiles.
We do not use personal information to run third-party advertising, retargeting, or a supplement store.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent email lists. We do not send your topic clicks to data brokers or supplement companies.
We may disclose information:
- Service providers who would process email or payments if a transaction completes — only as needed to bill and deliver the membership. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own ads.
- Legal if required by law, court order, or to protect 60 Minutes Wellness, our users, or the public.
- Business transfer if we merge, sell, or reorganize; we would require the successor to honor this policy or give you notice.
6. Third-party content and embeds
Some pages load content from others. Those parties have their own privacy policies:
- YouTube (Google) — member episode players may set cookies or collect viewing data if you play a video. See Google’s privacy policy.
- News and podcast feeds — headlines and audio may be requested from MedlinePlus, NIH, CDC, and similar publishers. Your browser may contact those hosts when a page loads a feed or media file.
- Photographs — topic images may be served from Unsplash or similar CDNs. The image host may log the request.
Opening an external link leaves 60 Minutes Wellness. We are not responsible for those sites.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell personal information as CCPA defines “sale.” We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as CCPA defines “share.” California residents may treat this section as our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” statement.
Because we do not sell or share in that sense, there is no opt-out toggle that turns off a sale — there is nothing to turn off. We also do not sell “topic interest” (for example, that you opened Nerve Pain).
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” right under CCPA, because we do not collect health records or use browsing as a medical profile.
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as Nevada law describes. You may email hello@60minuteswellness.com with the subject “Nevada do not sell” if you wish to make a request on the record.
9. Email
If a membership is active, we use your email for the Sunday briefing and for notices about your $9.99/month plan (transactional and relationship messages). We do not use your email for an unrelated product pitch or a partner supplement offer.
You can update the address in Account or cancel to stop future briefings after the current period. You may also email hello@60minuteswellness.com to ask us to stop using an address. U.S. law (including CAN-SPAM) requires commercial email to identify the sender and offer a way to opt out; we treat membership mail as service mail tied to your paid plan.
10. Payments
We do not store card numbers, CVC codes, or PayPal passwords. Payment fields are used to complete (or attempt) membership in the browser. If a charge does not go through, we do not keep a paid membership on this device and we do not treat the attempt as a completed sale. We never use payment details for advertising.
If a membership starts, it is billed monthly at $9.99 USD. Recurring charges continue on the payment method you used at checkout until you cancel. Payment processors may receive the information they need to run those monthly charges. Incomplete checkout is not a completed sale and does not start monthly billing.
60 Minutes Wellness is not a bank or a card network. Card brands (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal are independent companies. If a processor is used, its terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment.
11. Retention and deletion
Membership status on this site lives in your browser. Canceling removes that local membership. Clearing browser data has the same effect on this device.
We do not operate a separate health database of subscribers on this website. If you email us, we keep the message as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of a legal request.
12. Security
We use HTTPS on this site and we avoid storing full payment card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for the device and browser you use. Do not enter payment information on a public computer you do not trust.
13. Your privacy rights (U.S.)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request that we: confirm whether we process your personal information; provide access or a portable copy; correct inaccurate information; delete information we hold; and not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California residents also have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/share (not applicable here as described above), and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information (not applicable here as described above). We will not deny goods, charge a different price, or provide a lesser service because you exercised a CCPA right.
To make a request, email hello@60minuteswellness.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may need to verify you (for example, confirming control of the email address). You may use an authorized agent as the law allows; we may still need to verify you. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Because much of the membership state lives only on your device, the fastest way to delete that copy is to cancel in Account or clear this site’s data in your browser.
14. Children
60 Minutes Wellness is for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA). We do not sell personal information of consumers we know are under 16. If you believe a child used this site, contact hello@60minuteswellness.com so we can help you stop using the address.
15. Visitors outside the United States
The service is designed for adults in the United States. If you visit from another country, you understand that information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those where you live.
16. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where the law requires another form of notice or consent.
17. Contact
Privacy questions and CCPA requests: hello@60minuteswellness.com. For medical emergencies in the United States, call 911. This policy is not medical advice; see our Medical Disclaimer.
